How to score UPSR Science Paper II ?  Many students are facing problems when answering the Paper II because they have not understand the proper technique in answering the exam papers.

a) What is the Aim of the experiment?
b) What is the Hypothesis of the experiment?
c) What is the Inference?
d) What is the Observation?
e) What is the conclusion from the experiment?

How to answer all the questions?
Aim:
To Study the relationship between + (Manipulated Variable) + (Responding Variable)

Hypothesis:
When + (Manipulate Variable) + then what happens to the  + (Responding Variable)

Inference:
Must start with “Because……. ”

Kata Nama Am

1. Kata Nama Am ialah kata yang digunakan untuk menjelaskan nama sesuatu yang bernyawa seperti orang, haiwan, dan sesutu yang tidak bernyawa seperti tumbuh-tumbuhan, tempat , benda, dan sebagainya.

Dengan kata lain perkataan Nama Am digunakan bagi menyebut sesuatu secara am atau umum.

Manusia , orang	ayah, perempuan, kerani, polis, guru, doktor, askar dll
binatang	ayam, gajah, kerbau anjing, kuda, burung, ikan dll
tumbuh- tumbuhan	pokok, betik, rumput, lalang dll
benda	pasir, kayak, radio, rumah. Motorkar, pen, buku, dll
tempat	pejabat, pulau, sekolah, kampung, bandar, negeri dll

2. Kata nama am dapat dibahagikan kepada kata nama yang:

(a) konkrit, iaitu nama sesuatu yang dapat dipegang, atau dapat dirasa, atau dapat dilihat

(b) abstrak, iaitu nama sesuatu yang hanya dapat dibayangkan atau dikhayalkan.

3. Kata nama am konkrit dan abstrak boleh terdiri daripada kata asal dan kata nama terbitan.

4. Berikut adalah beberapa contoh kata nama terbitan:

buai - buaian

tua - ketua

raja - kerajaan

tahu - pengetahuan

Kata nama am hendaklah ditulis dengan menggunakan huruf kecil melainkan pada awal ayat.

Contoh:

Dia sedang menjinakkan seekor gajah.	Pada akhir ayat
Gajah itu berbadan besar.	Pada awal ayat

 

Rounding Off

Sometimes numbers will be rounded up and sometimes they will be rounded down.

Whole numbers will often be rounded to the nearest 10, the nearest 100 or the nearest 1 000 - perhaps even to the nearest 10 000, or 100 000, or even 1 000 000. This depends upon the intended use of the information.

Rules for rounding

If the digit after the one being rounded is less than 5 (0, 1, 2, 3 or 4), we round down.

If the digit after the one being rounded is 5 or more (5, 6, 7, 8, or 9), we round up.

Examples:

• Rounding 76 to the nearest ten, gives 80 because 6 is greater than 5 (round up)
• Rounding 932 to the nearest hundred, gives 900 because 3 is less than 5 (round down)
